This story is an example of a donkey who foolishly thinks that everyone is praising me, but the fact was, people were praising the Lord statue kept on the back of that donkey. Similarly, Guru says – Always praise the LORD, not the ego’. All appreciation and praise we get are of the Lord but not ours.
