Message for the New year 2017 from our Spiritual Master –
In the year 2016, a step was taken by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 8th November, towards demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupee notes in order to unearth the black money and motivate more and more people to deposit their currency in the banks which will lead to the development of the nation. Though people are facing the initial hardships but if we cooperate with the decision taken by our PM, then our nation will surely progress in the long run.
We have always learned to live for ourselves but in this New Year let us refresh and renew our thoughts and start thinking about others too. Let us learn to give!
Here is a story- Once there was an apple tree. A gardener used to come to pluck fresh apples. Few of the apples decided to save themselves. They hid behind the green leaves so that no one could see them. The remaining red apples were ready to give their lives for the benefit of all and gardener plucked them. They were then eaten by the people, which gave them a lot of energy. Whereas the hidden apples over ripened and fell on the ground. Their life went in vain. Similarly, when we try to save our energy and live only for ourselves, we perish and when we start living for others, we cherish and prosper.
Let us develop the attitude of giving in 2017 because when we give we become happier. Guru Bhagwan Says – Even if we do not have much money to give, we can keep intent to give. Do not bargain with the poor vendors and rickshaw pullers.
Let us free our mind from fear, resentment, criticism, jealousy, hatred and guilt. These are the obstacles in our mind which hold us back from growing spiritually. Have a loving heart and vibrate positive thoughts for all and for the nation.
In the coming year 2017, let us resolve to chant –
हरे कृष्ण, हरे कृष्ण, कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे,
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे
Mahamantra and remember God through chanting and prayers as much as possible because chanting God’s name purifies our mind, body, and heart as well as the whole environment and nation.
So, let us visualize the whole nation chanting ‘Hare Krishna’ and wishing each other Happy New Year.
A bright and prosperous Happy New Year 2017 to all of you.
Hare Krishna !!
